Job description
As a Workshop Manager, you will bear the technical and organizational responsibility for our workshop, overseeing everything from manufacturing and assembly in the factory to on-site deployments at customer locations. You will ensure smooth operations, high quality, workplace safety, and the continuous development of our workshop and assembly processes. Your technical expertise will guarantee that our systems are precisely manufactured, assembled, and commissioned.
- Development and management of the workshop team in various areas (mechanical, electrical, electronic) according to the growing customer demand
- Regular review and revision of work instructions and quality assurance measures
- Responsibility for intralogistics
- Responsibility for workshop organization and operating resources (tools, fixtures, maintenance)
- Responsibility for the proper execution of manufacturing and assembly work
- Technical leadership, coordination, guidance, and control of the workshop team based on production and assembly planning at the plant and on-site at the customer
- Coordination and continuous development as well as standardization of workshop and assembly processes in the course of expanding our production capacities (transition to series production)
- Technical evaluation of construction drawings and derivation of structured feedback to improve the drawings
Relevant work experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience with leadership experience, ideally in mechanical engineering or plant engineering
- Confident handling of technical drawings and documents
