Job description
As an experienced optimization algorithm developer, you will be part of a team unlocking the quantum advantage by developing efficient optimization algorithms using both classical and quantum resources. Your role involves adapting classical algorithms for parallel processing and collaborating with customers to understand their requirements, ensuring that your work has a significant impact in the field of quantum computing.
- Design and develop optimisation algorithms and their implementations
- Develop of hybrid algorithms using both quantum and classical resources
- Cooperate with the quantum algorithm developers
- Communicate with customers to derive the use case demonstration requirements
Relevant work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in optimization algorithm development either in academia or industry
- Experience in classical and / or quantum optimization algorithms
- At least 2 years of experience in leading projects of small teams is a plus
- Experience in writing code for parallel computing e.g. for GPU clusters is a plus
- Experience with HPC environments is a plus
- Knowledge of the basics of quantum computing and quantum algorithms
