Job description
As a modeling specialist in water treatment, you will play a crucial role in addressing significant challenges within the water industry using modern digital tools. You will model a diverse range of purification processes and installations for clients both within and outside the Netherlands, applying tools such as kinetic models and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to enhance decision-making and significantly improve processes. You will be part of a technical team and collaborate closely with our commercial colleagues.
- Project execution and delivery: a mid/senior executing role in modeling and digital twin projects, delivering project results to clients in the form of reports and presentations
- Technical communication & dissemination: internal and external communication during projects and at (inter)national events or in online webinars
- Research & development: developing new modeling solutions tailored to market needs and in close collaboration with the technical team
- Coaching & training: continuous learning & improvement and coaching of others
Relevant work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with process technology or modeling in water or wastewater treatment / process industry or academia
- Experience with modeling is a strong advantage but can be compensated with relevant sector experience and process knowledge
