Job description
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by executing test cases and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Your attention to detail and passion for quality will help us assess and improve our software quality through both manual and automated testing, ultimately delivering robust systems to our clients.
- Work directly with Engineering and Product to deliver high-quality features to our clients
- Work cross functionally to participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from planning to execution of tests
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results
- Evaluate product code according to specifications
- Identify test scenarios based on requirements
- Develop and agree test plans with product and engineering leadership
- Review test results and provide feedback to team leadership
- Identify software bugs and provide analysis to drive quality within the team
Relevant work experience
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Experience with Agile testing methodologies
- Experience with defect tracking and management tools like JIRA or equivalent
- Experience with different test types
- Expertise using different test tools
- Knowledge of databases and SQL
