Job description
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the right data is available at the right time, from sensor to dashboard. You will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure that processes all data into valuable insights for our customers and partners, providing you with the freedom and responsibility to innovate and tackle technical challenges.
- You develop robust data pipelines that process sensor, ship, and environmental data
- You contribute to our cloud-native infrastructure
- You automate processes using DevOps principles
- Together with your colleagues, you monitor and improve our data quality
- Develop and maintain new APIs to use this data in our applications or share it with third parties
- You collaborate with a team of experienced data engineers, always finding a sparring partner to discuss complex technical choices
- You work on the development of streaming data pipelines
Relevant work experience
- You have a university degree level and preferably a completed (university) education in the field of computer science, AI, or a similar field
- You have been active for at least 4 years in a data-related role. You have seen various organizations and worked in different teams.
