Job description
As a plant whisperer and packing team member, you will engage in all aspects of plant care, from seeding to dispatching various leafy greens and herbs within a food-safe environment. You will also be responsible for packing, ensuring our exceptional products reach our customers with care. This role is crucial as it supports ONNA's mission to revolutionize the food industry and create a sustainable future through innovative agricultural practices.
- Engage in all aspects of plant care, from seeding to dispatching various leafy greens and herbs within a food-safe environment
- Hands-on involvement in harvesting and transplanting crops
- Handle all aspects of packing, including labeling, stacking, and shipping freshly harvested crops in our chilled packing room
- Operate packing machines and uphold quality standards as per our product specifications
- Follow the packing plan and "To Do List" meticulously to meet customer demands
- Perform routine end-of-shift cleaning of the farm, equipment, and work area
- Prioritize safety by adhering to HSE guidelines and ensuring the well-being of yourself and others
- Adhere to defined workflows and production schedules, maintaining high standards of quality by meeting daily volume requirements
