Job description

As a lab manager, you will be the main operator of the M8 laboratory, ensuring analytical reliability that directly guides our exploration decisions. You will manage laboratory operations, maintenance, calibration, and safety of equipment, while also overseeing the processing and analysis of all samples. Your role is crucial in conducting advanced geochemical analyses and participating in global field campaigns, making you a key player in our mission to explore natural hydrogen resources.

  • Laboratory Management
  • Operation, maintenance, calibration, and safety of equipment (GC, analytical tools)
  • Processing and analysis of all samples (gas, water, rock) — full responsibility
  • Management of supplies, service contracts, and laboratory budget oversight
  • Advanced geochemical analyses
  • Participation in global field campaigns (soil gases, waters, rocks, springs)
  • Technical interface with partner laboratories (CNRS, national platforms)
  • Chemical safety, risk assessment, waste management

Relevant work experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in applied geochemistry and laboratory management
  • Strong proficiency in GC and water and/or gas geochemistry
