Job description
As a finance manager (m/f/x), you will be responsible for the entire finance area at Autarkize, initially as a one-person show. You will build the finance department from scratch, gradually bringing accounting in-house and developing an integrated financial planning tool that accurately reflects our business model. If you have a deep understanding of balance sheets, annual financial statements, and plant construction, and are eager to shape a department from the ground up rather than just manage it, we should talk.
- You are responsible for the entire finance department at Autarkize – independently, hands-on, and with the aim of establishing it as a solid foundation in the long term
- You understand accounting in depth (HGB), accompany the annual financial statement and are a confident interlocutor for the auditors – especially regarding accounting topics related to plant construction
- You prepare audits, argue thoroughly with auditors, and ensure that our figures withstand every audit
- During the implementation phase, you also conduct the accounting yourself if needed – you are not just a coordinator, but pragmatically involved
- You have a nearly completed tool for integrated planning – approximately 80% finished – and you will complete this tool together with our AI engineer
- You gradually build a meaningful reporting system, keep relevant key figures in view, and lay the foundation for data-driven decisions
- You monitor plant construction projects with a cost volume in the seven-figure range and manage them financially
- You shape the transition to in-house accounting and set up the internal processes
Relevant work experience
- Multiple years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally in plant or mechanical engineering
- Deep understanding of finance, accounting, annual financial statements, and auditing
