Job description
As a senior .NET Core developer, you will own, design, and optimize backend systems, scale microservices, secure APIs, and tune MySQL with autonomy and real impact. This role focuses on technical excellence, allowing you to drive architectural decisions and write high-performance code without the burden of people management.
- Architect & Scale: Design, develop, and optimize high-throughput, low-latency microservices and applications using .NET Core.
- Build Robust APIs: Create, document, and maintain highly secure RESTful Web APIs capable of supporting scaling global user traffic
- Optimize Data Layers: Own the performance of our MySQL ecosystem—writing efficient queries, designing schemas, tuning execution plans, and managing data migrations
- Manage Environments: Containerize applications using Docker and manage local, staging, and production-like environments via Docker Compose
- Automate Deployments: Maintain, streamline, and improve automated delivery processes through CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins)
- Handle Background Workloads: Implement, monitor, and optimize cron jobs, background workers, and scheduled tasks for asynchronous data processing
- Integrate Systems: Manage high-volume transactional communication, specifically handling push notification integrations via OneSignal
Relevant work experience
- 5–7 Years of professional experience in backend software development, with at least 4+ years specifically dedicated to intensive .NET Core development.
- Deep production experience with microservices architecture and standard RESTful API design patterns
- Advanced knowledge of MySQL (or relational databases), including heavy query optimization, indexing strategies, and database scaling
- Practical experience with containerization (Docker, Docker Compose) and building automated CI/CD pipelines
