Job description
As a support engineer, you will play a crucial role in our installation and support team. You will be responsible for the complete installation process of our hardware and connecting it with our software. Your position is vital as you serve as the connecting factor between our customers, installers, and the office team, directly contributing to innovative and complex projects that aim to make inland shipping safer, more sustainable, and more efficient.
- You are the first point of contact for customers regarding technical questions, malfunctions, and installations
- You keep track of the inventory, place orders, and ensure that the installers always have the right materials
- You assist with preparing installation drawings
- You communicate with the installers about the planning, ongoing installations, and inventory
- You identify (simple) malfunctions and fix the malfunction
- Various administrative tasks
Relevant work experience
- 2 years of experience in a role suitable for this job
- Experience as Captain
- Experience as helmsman
- Experience as work planner
- Experience as scheduler
