Job description

As a senior mechanical design engineer, you will combine deep technical expertise with economic foresight. Your role involves developing reliable solutions, reducing manufacturing costs, and enabling our heat pump to reach new markets worldwide, contributing to a sustainable future in industrial heating and cooling.

• Preparation and review of technical documentation, specifications, and drawings
• Design and conception of components and assemblies
• Systematic evaluation of concepts according to technical and economic criteria
• Preparation and evaluation of detailed designs regarding mechanical strength, service life calculation, and machine dynamic behavior
• Ongoing coordination within the company (procurement, assembly) and with external partners (suppliers, vendors, engineering service providers)
• Creation of requirements and functional specifications for purchased parts
• Mentoring and development of less experienced colleagues

Relevant work experience

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or comparable qualifications
• Excellent knowledge of parametric CAD programs, Autodesk Inventor is an advantage
• Desirable experience in plant engineering
• Experience with Six Sigma and project management is an advantage
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a design engineer in an industrial company
