Job description

As a Director of Product, you will define and drive Kuva Space’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap across our end-to-end offerings, from satellite-enabled data products to customer-facing applications and APIs. This impactful leadership role requires someone who thrives in a complex, deep-tech environment and can translate frontier technology into compelling products and scalable market opportunities, ensuring that our product portfolio delivers measurable value and supports Kuva Space’s commercial and strategic growth.

  • Define and own the company’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with Kuva Space’s strategy, mission and business goals
  • Lead the evolution of Kuva Space’s product portfolio across satellite data, applications, platform capabilities, and customer solutions
  • Identify high-value market opportunities and prioritize product investments based on customer demand, strategic fit, technical feasibility, and business impact
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and the market within the organization
  • Partner closely with business development, engineering, satellite operations, data science, commercial, and leadership teams to deliver products from concept to launch and scale
  • Translate business and customer requirements into clear product priorities, requirements, and execution plans
  • Drive product development processes, including discovery, roadmap planning, prioritization, release planning, and lifecycle management
  • Engage directly with customers, partners, and stakeholders across commercial, institutional, government, and defense markets to understand problems and validate solutions

Relevant work experience

  • Significant experience in product management, including leadership responsibility in deep-tech, space-tech, SaaS, data, Earth observation, defense, or related technology environments
  • Proven track record of defining product strategy and bringing complex technical products to market
  • Experience with platform products, APIs, data products, or analytics solutions
  • Strong ability to work across multidisciplinary teams, including software, hardware, data science, and commercial functions
