Job description

As an HR Operations Specialist - Maternity Cover, you will be responsible for managing the entire payroll process, handling HR operations, and providing guidance to employees on HR and payroll matters. You will ensure compliance with regulations, maintain employee records, and assist in the hiring process, all while contributing to a positive work environment and supporting the HR team during maternity cover.

  • Manage the entire payroll process, liaising with HRIS and payroll provider as necessary (e.g., timesheets, payslips checks, personnel cost, TFR management, etc.)
  • Manage the HR operations processes and administrative tasks (e.g., contracts, smart working, medical checks, health and safety trainings, welfare, health insurances, ticket restaurant, etc.)
  • Provide advice and guidance to employees on HR and payroll related matters (responding to general inquiries)
  • Identify ways to continuously improve policies and processes
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations (e.g., Right to Work checks)
  • Update of all employee records, digital and physical
  • Maintain and update the personnel database (new hires, terminations, vacations, medical leaves, maternity leaves, bonuses, salary increases, and other needed information) ensuring the reporting and the confidentiality of information
  • Assist in the hiring process and onboarding of new employees (including the preparation of contracts)

Relevant work experience

  • 2–3 Years of Experience in a Similar Role
